Boipelo Mooketsi is a media professional, storyteller, and proudly South African voice rooted in authenticity and passion. Born and raised in Kimberley, she’s always been drawn to the power of words, energy, and human connection. She uses her voice and platform to entertain, inform, and inspire.

Her journey began on campus radio at Voice of Wits while completing a degree in Motion Picture Medium (TV Directing and Writing) at AFDA. She then moved into regional radio at YFM, growing both on and off the mic. Boipelo also worked behind the scenes on beloved South African soapies Muvhango and Giyani: Land of Blood, and further shaped her professionalism through the Phakama Women’s Academy.

Today, she’s part of the powerhouse team at 5FM, hosting 5 Weekend Nights — connecting with a national audience and bringing music and culture to life with a vibe that’s real, relatable, and relevant.

As an MC, she’s graced stages and worked with brands like Strawberry Lips, Diamonds & Dorings International Festival, Gauteng Department of Tourism, Northern Cape Awards, as well as numerous pageants and corporate events. She’s interviewed game-changers, hosted major events, and lent her voice to brands aligned with her values. Beyond the résumé, Boipelo’s true achievement is showing up as herself — consistently, confidently, and with care. Her credibility is built brick by brick, grounded in hard work and constant evolution.
