Doctor Khumalo, born Theophilus Doctorson Khumalo in Soweto, South Africa, on June 26, 1967, is a living legend in football. Known as "16V," he played an instrumental role in shaping South African soccer, excelling as a midfielder for Kaizer Chiefs and the national team, Bafana Bafana. With 397 appearances and 90 goals for Kaizer Chiefs, he was a pivotal figure in their dominance during the 1990s. Internationally, Khumalo represented South Africa in their first post-apartheid match against Cameroon and was a key player in the team that won the 1996 African Nations Cup.

His career achievements include being named South African Footballer of the Year in 1992, and he earned 50 caps for the national team, scoring nine goals.
