Corné Krige is a former Springbok captain, international speaker, entrepreneur and experienced Master of Ceremonies. Born in Zambia and educated at Paarl Boys’ High, he established himself as a professional rugby player with Western Province and the Stormers before earning his Springbok debut in 1999. Despite suffering multiple career-threatening injuries, he reached the highest level of international rugby, earning 39 Test caps and captaining South Africa in 18 matches. He became the Springboks’ full-time captain in 2002, leading the national side during a pivotal period in South African rugby.
