Intrigue Sax & Violin Duo is a dynamic female musical act bringing together the elegance of violin and the distinctive versatility of saxophone. Both musicians are classically trained and have performed with orchestras in Johannesburg, combining strong musical credentials with an intuitive understanding of live events. Their polished presentation, stylish appearance and adaptable repertoire make them a natural fit for sophisticated corporate and private occasions.

The duo’s extensive repertoire moves effortlessly between classical favourites, smooth jazz, Latin rhythms, contemporary instrumentals, pop, African music and upbeat party selections. They are particularly sought after for their French and Italian café-style repertoire, creating an atmospheric European feel that works beautifully for intimate celebrations, kitchen teas, baby showers, Italian-themed events and elegant dinners. They carefully tailor their musical selection to suit the occasion, ensuring the performance complements rather than competes with the event.

Intrigue has performed for clients including Nedbank, Nokia, Hollard, Mobotix, NSBC and Bausch + Lomb, with appearances at prestigious venues such as The Saxon, Sun City Palace, Johannesburg Country Club and Hyatt Regency. Their national performance history spans destinations including Kathu, Cape Town, Durban and the Drakensberg, demonstrating their flexibility and readiness to travel for events across South Africa.

For events requiring something beyond traditional background music, Intrigue can also take a more interactive approach, moving amongst guests with lively selections that encourage participation while maintaining their musical integrity and professionalism. Whether creating an elegant atmosphere during cocktails, adding sophistication to a gala dinner or bringing energy to a celebration, Intrigue Sax & Violin Duo delivers live music that looks as good as it sounds and leaves a lasting impression.
