Mi Casa is one of South Africa’s most celebrated house bands, known for their soulful sound, infectious energy, and boundary-pushing performances that bring people together.
Formed in 2011, Mi Casa quickly became a household name in South Africa’s music scene with their fresh fusion of house, jazz, and soul. The trio—comprised of lead vocalist J’Something, trumpeter Mo-T, and producer/drummer Dr. Duda—brought a live performance feel to house music, creating a signature sound that transcends genres and borders.
Their self-titled debut album produced the chart-topping hit “These Streets” and earned them multiple South African Music Awards (SAMAs), setting the tone for a career defined by creativity and connection. Follow-up albums like Su Casa, Home Sweet Home, and We Made It delivered more radio hits and cemented their status as musical innovators.
Mi Casa has toured extensively across Africa, Europe, and North America, captivating fans with their dynamic live shows and authentic storytelling. Whether headlining festivals or performing on global stages, their mission remains the same: to spread joy, unity, and good vibes through music.
More than just a band, Mi Casa represents the sound of modern South Africa—vibrant, diverse, and full of heart.
